Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers: Everything You’re Missing.
An honest review about the newest course on Affiliate Marketing, by Carly Campbell.
First of all, I LOVED Carly’s book, Pinteresting Strategies. It helped me to increase my Pinterest and blog traffic SIGNIFICANTLY. From 12k/month views to 150k/month views. Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers is a new and comprehensive course that covers all things affiliate marketing.
Once I increased my Pinterest traffic and learned more about Pinterest, I knew that I needed to learn more about affiliate marketing.
When I had the opportunity to be one of the first people to go through her new course, I didn’t hesitate for a second.
From a frank discussion of niche selection, to finding and choosing affiliate products to promote, to email affiliate marketing, this course covers the basics of affiliate marketing that you need to know in order to be successful with affiliate marketing.
Beyond just the basics, the course dives into aspects and avenues of affiliate marketing that I had never even considered. It was a huge A-HA Moment for me! The course also provides links to other resources that quite simply blew my mind, again with pointing out things that I didn’t know yet, how to conduct keyword research, the importance of keywords, and the like. More A-HA moments were had here!
Affiliate Marketing – How Bloggers Make Money
The first and arguably most important thing about affiliate marketing, is to follow the rules! The first rule of affiliate marketing is disclosure. When you link to a product or course, like an amazon product or digital course, you must state in your post that it is an affiliate link.
You have probably started to notice these disclaimer statements everywhere you go on the internet. They usually look something like, “This post contains affiliate links. I may receive a commission if you make a purchase through this link, at no additional cost to you.”
That being said, you may notice that this post contains my affiliate links to Pinteresting Strategies and to Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers.
This is one of the ways bloggers make money online. Another golden rule is to only recommend products that you know, use and love. So bloggers make a recommendation, which contains a link to said recommendation, reader clicks on link and purchases products, blogger makes a commission.
Each affiliate program that you decide to promote will also have its own rules to follow. Be sure to read those terms before you click to agree.
The second most important rule of affiliate marketing is to only promote products that you use and believe in. Makes sense right?! You should only recommend products, digital or otherwise, that you use and love. You wouldn’t recommend something to a friend that you’ve never actually used, right?
That is why I can confidently recommend these two digital products from Carly Campbell.
Plus, if you’re wondering, Carly publishes Blog Income Reports to her email list. She made over $15,000 in affiliate income in January, and over $22,000 from all sources…just in January of this year! So ya, she knows what she’s talking about, and she’s made this course to help other bloggers like you and me!If you’re a blogger looking to understand affiliate marketing to start monetizing your site, I would start here with this course! #affiliate #affiliatemarketing #bloggingtips Click To Tweet
